Today concludes our 2015 Pollen and Outdoor Mold Spore Reports. As colder temperatures overnight continue to eliminate pollen producing plants, pollen levels will fall and become nonexistent. Outdoor mold spores do stay present until there is snow cover on the ground. Reports will resume mid-March 2016.

The Asthma Center is the only accredited pollen and mold spore monitoring station for The American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology serving metropolitan Philadelphia.

Note: Volumetric air sampling is performed by the Burkard Trap Device. Sampling is obtained by a 24-hour period. This service is supported by The Asthma Center Education and Research Fund.
